As a Physical Therapist in the Ambulatory Surgery specialty, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing rehabilitation programs to help patients achieve a higher level of physical function. Your responsibilities will include:
Applying knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology Assisting facility staff to maintain a clean and effective rehabilitation environment Developing personalized Plans of Care with short and long-term goals Documenting patient progress according to medical and facility standards Evaluating patient mobility, strength, and function to set attainable goals Implementing and adjusting Plans of Care based on patient progress Maintaining effective communication with therapy staff and referral sources Ensuring compliance with third-party payer requirements Continuing professional development through workshops and publications Performing evaluations according to APTA and state standards Supervising physical therapy assistants professionally and consistently Requirements for this role include: Need 1 year experience in setting Outpatient experience required Active Illinois Physical Therapist License Active American Heart Association BLS certification Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
