About the Role The Dental Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of dental support staff while ensuring efficient, patient-centered clinic operations. This role plays a key part in enhancing the patient experience, supporting team development, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance. What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality, patient-centered operations Champion patient experience initiatives (rounding, AIDET, service recovery, etc.) Supervise Dental Assistants and other clinical support staff Support scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development Coach and motivate team members to meet quality and performance goals Oversee supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance Maintain SDS sheets, emergency kits, and ensure regulatory compliance Support performance management, including feedback and issue resolution

What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience in a healthcare or dental setting strongly preferred Knowledge of health and dental insurance processes preferred Minimum 1 year of customer service experience 2–3 years of people leadership experience (coaching, mentoring, team development) 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare or a related field Strong leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR/EDR systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
