Provides outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services thought assigned clinic locations. Provides inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including infant delivery and related surgical procedures, at partner hospitals. Performing a wide range of tests, including pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams. Diagnosing and prescribed treatments for disorders and diseases. Conducting routine check-ups on patients. Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Maintains the required productivity expectations for time spent in a clinic. Participates in administrative duties, including lab reports, charts, and medication refills reviewed and managed appropriately. Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
Qualifications Experience:
Working with underserved populations is highly desired. Certification through the Drug Enforcement Agency and valid licensure in the State of Kentucky are required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent) Active and unrestricted Kentucky medical license (or eligibility for licensure) Current DEA registration and Kentucky Controlled Substance License Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Other Skills:
Must be able to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Effective oral and written communication skills required with a model motivating personality toward patients, colleagues, Medical Assistants, and other support staff. Experience with Electronic Health Records systems and keyboarding skills required and must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays.
Schedule Requirements: Full-time position, 100% clinic-based, in person work required. Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
