Preparing and organizing the operating room to assist in various surgical procedures Upholding sterile fields and following stringent infection control measures Handing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after each procedure Keeping a close eye on supplies and ensuring all is ready for operations Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for optimal care Maintaining accurate surgical counts and documentation to support best practices Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent required Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within the first 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
