Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist in Oswego, New York! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration: Type: Contract to hire opportunity! Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm - No on call or weekends! Pay: $35.00 to $40.00 an hour, based on experience and credentials Position Overview Established private OB/GYN practice seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a collaborative women's health team serving a growing community in Central New York. This opportunity offers a balance of obstetric and gynecologic care, shared call responsibilities, advanced in-office technology, and a strong referral base as the only OB group in the county. Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist: • Preparing patients for exams, explaining the procedure, and ensuring they are comfortable during what can be a highly emotional or sensitive experience. • Performing routine growth scans, nuchal translucency tests, and high-risk maternal-fetal imaging to monitor fetal health, check for anomalies, and track amniotic fluid. • Examining the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes to investigate abnormal bleeding, pelvic masses, or fertility issues. • Analyzing images, documenting findings, and presenting preliminary reports to the interpreting physician. • Performs related clerical duties as needed.
