Processes physician drug orders including, but not limited to: order entry into dispensing computer system, appropriate product selection, labeling and repackaging Consults with various health care professionals and provides information and guidance concerning drugs and their appropriate use Complies with departmental and hospital policies and procedures Manages daily departmental activities Participates in and/or provides support to hospital committees as agreed upon by committee members and the Director of Pharmacy to help establish drug-related policies, criteria, or to monitor issues related to drugs i.e. Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee Assists in the preparation of periodic reports on the progress of the department for submission to the administration of the hospital Assists the department and hospital in maintaining compliance with accreditation standards
Required Qualifications:
ACPE - accredited PharmD degree or BS of Pharmacy with recent pharmacist work experience Active State of Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Some hospital pharmacy work experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
