Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy approaches to help them reach their functional objectives Conduct Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily life activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and integrated care Guide Patients and Family Members: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy strategies to encourage ongoing development at home Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary to help patients stay aligned with their goals Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported Licensure
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) certification NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Skills
