Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric populations through standardized evaluations and observational methods. Craft tailored treatment plans that encompass both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise integrated care plans. Provide education for patients and families to bolster progress beyond therapy sessions. Contribute to occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments, ensuring consistent continuity of care. Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field through continuing education and peer collaboration. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within 30 days of starting. Skills
