About the Role: The Certified Nurse's Aide assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. You Are Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising. Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed. Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated. Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed. Answer signal lights promptly. Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly. Maintain safe and sanitary workstations and equipment. Encourage independence, attendance at activities, restorative programs, and rehabilitation. Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry (required) Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given. CPR/BLS Certification
