EMT Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, Arroyo Grande, California As our EMT, you will perform essential general patient care, meticulously following established clinic workflows to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery within an outpatient setting. Every day you will complete comprehensive patient intake duties, including obtaining vital signs, verifying allergies and medications, and documenting reasons for visits. You'll also collect and prepare specimens, administer ordered medications and vaccines, clean and sterilize instruments, ensure exam room readiness, and meticulously complete safety checklists, escalating any non-routine issues promptly. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, efficiency, and safety, adeptly managing all intake processes and supporting clinical operations. Your ability to meticulously follow protocols, maintain a clean and stocked environment, and proactively address concerns will be crucial for exceptional patient experiences. This individual has a high level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Primarily the position requires clerical skills, and branches out into patient care as E.D. acuity and census requires. Must be able to work quickly and accurately, and anticipate patient, physician, and R.N. needs. Demonstrates initiative in expanding knowledge and skills. Has an even temperament and can work well with others in high stress situations. Job Requirements:
High School Graduate General Studies High School GED General Studies Emergency Medical Technician: CA Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
