Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist Schedule: Day shift, 5x8.0 Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description: Select Medical is an organization where patient and employee safety are prioritized. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients in inpatient rehabilitation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address discharge barriers and ensure timely equipment and training for patients. Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions effectively. Complete medical record documentation accurately and in compliance with guidelines. Participate in student programs and contribute to a positive learning environment. Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts within the community. Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current State license as a Physical Therapist. BLS Certification required prior to the first shift. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in inpatient rehabilitation.
