Über

Nursing Job At Bmh Golden Triangle Hospital Functions under the direction of licensed nursing personnel to coordinate non-clinical tasks, including: transcription of doctor's orders, maintaining the patient chart and utilization of communication devices. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include:
Performing clerical responsibilities. Maintaining the patient chart. Demonstrating good communication skills. Facilitating patient/bed flow by utilizing admission, transfer, and discharge activities according to procedure. Managing supplies and equipment. Participating in ongoing educational activities. Performing direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personnel. Assisting in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner that is consistent with established policies and procedures. Providing for patient safety. Completing assigned goals.
Experience:
One year experience in business office or related health care field. Previous experience utilizing customer service or public relation skills.
Education:
Skilled and proficient in basic math, grammar, and communication
Training:
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Licensure:
BLS within 14 days of hire.
