Overview Gastroenterologist J1 Candidates Accepted Central Maine Medical Center Lewiston, Maine A Member of Prime Healthcare Position Summary Central Maine Medical Center, a Prime Healthcare affiliated hospital, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its established and expanding Digestive Health program in Lewiston, Maine. This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive gastroenterology in a collaborative hospital-based environment, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
Colonoscopy
Biopsy and polypectomy
Hemostasis and dilation
PEG placement
Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including:
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Liver disease and hepatitis
Pancreatic disorders
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Participate in a shared call schedule
Qualifications • MD or DO from an accredited medical school • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency • Completion of accredited Gastroenterology fellowship • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology • Eligible for or active Maine medical license • DEA registration • BLS and ACLS certification Pay Transparency CMH actively promotes diversity in its workforce at all levels of the organization.
