Role Summary The Retail Sales Representative sells the fleetOS POS system to independent auto parts distributors — managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and coordinating hardware delivery and setup. This is a high-activity, relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys selling physical products to small business owners.
What You'll Do
Prospect and qualify independent auto parts distributors for the fleetOS POS system through phone, email, and in-person outreach
Conduct product demonstrations of the fleetOS POS system and articulate its value within the Winixx parts fulfillment network
Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through signed agreement and hardware delivery coordination
Meet weekly and monthly targets for new POS unit activations
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified vendor prospects in the CRM
Coordinate with operations on hardware delivery, installation, and initial account setup
Gather prospect feedback and competitive intelligence for the product and marketing teams
Participate in regional auto parts trade shows and distributor events
What We're Looking For
1+ years of outside sales, field sales, or hardware sales experience
Strong in-person presentation and closing skills
Comfortable with a high-activity sales cycle including cold outreach and in-person demos
Experience selling to small business owners or independent operators is a strong advantage
Willingness to travel within an assigned territory
Basic technical aptitude — able to demonstrate and explain POS hardware and software
Valid driver's license required
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
