Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and establish personalized therapy strategies that guide them towards achieving their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to advance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work effectively alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrative care Educate Patients and Family Members: Teach therapy methods to patients and caregivers, empowering them to support sustained progress at home Track and Adjust Treatment Efficacy: Monitor clinical progress and modify therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure patients remain on the path to success Required Education
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education courses or additional certifications are welcomed and supported Get Certified
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Colorado NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required Essential Skills
A strong desire to uplift others and a natural inclination toward fostering each patient's independence Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and fellow team members Creative problem-solving skills to tailor therapy strategies to diverse patient needs Confidence in working both autonomously and as an integral part of a close-knit, interdisciplinary team What We Offer
