Conduct a range of ultrasound exams-including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging-to gather critical diagnostic information Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly communicating each step with warmth and understanding Partner closely with radiologists and physicians to deliver high-quality imaging that leads to informed medical decisions Efficiently operate and care for imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that may arise Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures and preserve patient records in our electronic health system Stay informed on the latest developments in ultrasound imaging practices to enhance your skills Education Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Certifications Required
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Skills Needed
Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Able to function independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered atmosphere Benefits Overview
