Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Collaborate with fellow professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to shape comprehensive care plans. Engage in patient and family education to support progress outside physical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring consistent care throughout the recovery journey. Maintain timely and accurate records that adhere to state, federal, and organizational standards. Pursue ongoing education and collaborate with peers to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
