Conduct thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and episodic illnesses alongside physicians or independently based on your licensure Educate patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management Prescribe medications and therapies within the legal framework of your practice Engage in follow-up care and assist in the management of chronic conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-first care Maintain precise and thorough documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications and Credentials
Earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Indiana Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Your Distinguishing Qualities
