Fire & Security Systems Engineer We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of electronic security and life safety systems across commercial, industrial and residential projects. Key Responsibilities Design, install, commission and maintain: Intruder alarm systems Fire detection and alarm systems CCTV systems Access control systems Emergency lighting systems Gate automation systems Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and professionally Complete all works in compliance with current Irish Standards and industry best practices Liaise with customers on-site and provide technical support where required Maintain accurate service records and documentation Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard Requirements Minimum 45 years proven experience designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining: Intruder alarms Fire detection systems CCTV systems Access control systems Emergency lighting systems Traceable work history within the fire and security industry In-depth knowledge of electronic security and fire technologies Strong understanding of networking principles and system integration Technical Experience Required Intruder Alarm Systems Competence across HKC, RISCO, Aritech and similar platforms Familiarity with I.S. EN 50131 standards Fire Detection & Alarm Systems Competence across Advanced, Morley, Ziton, Aritech, CTEC, Hochiki and Apollo systems Familiarity with I.S. 3218 standards CCTV Systems Competence across Hikvision, Dahua and similar IP/analogue platforms Familiarity with I.S. EN 62676 standards Access Control Systems Competence across Paxton, ACT and similar standalone/networked platforms Familiarity with I.S. EN 60839 standards Emergency Lighting Systems Experience with self-contained and central-battery systems Knowledge of self-test and addressable emergency lighting systems Familiarity with I.S. 3217 standards Desirable Skills Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full clean driving licence Experience with gate automation systems What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Company vehicle and tools Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects Supportive and professional working environment If you are an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking to join a progressive and growing company, we would like to hear from you
