Utilize both radiographic and CT techniques to capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician assessment Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to facilitate accurate diagnoses Skillfully position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging results Adhere to radiation safety protocols to safeguard patients and staff alike Maintain accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep Deliver compassionate and patient-centered care throughout the imaging process Help foster a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment Education and Credentials
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferable Graduation from an accredited radiology program Certifications Needed
ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is essential Current BLS certification or the ability to secure it within 90 days of hire Key Skills for Success
Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety guidelines Excellent communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary team members Adaptability to excel in a fast-paced environment Keen attention to detail and a firm sense of accountability Comfortable with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging technology What You Stand to Gain
