Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout each procedure, explaining every step with kindness and clarity Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic images Manage and maintain imaging equipment diligently, promptly addressing any technical issues Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system and maintain patient confidentiality Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies Educational Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program Certifications Required
Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred Essential Skills
