Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referrals (internal and external) to promote team awareness and ensure patient safety. Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographics and current insurance information. Contact review organizations and insurance companies to ensure prior approval requirements are met Review details and expectations about the referral with patients Assist patients in problem-solving potential issues related to their referral Ensure that referrals are addressed promptly
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Friendly, personable demeanor Detail oriented
