Job Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews Assist in assessing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging and lab results Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies Provide essential intraoperative support, prepping instruments, ensuring patient safety, and facilitating the smooth flow of the operation Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, managing medications, handling wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients Required Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preferred completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice Certifications
Current and unrestricted PA-C certification BLS and ACLS certifications required State licensure (or eligibility) for the Physician Assistant role Key Skills
