Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic MedicineLocation: State College, Pennsylvania Facility: Mount Nittany Health Position Type: Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Tentative Start Date: July 13, 2026 Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 Hours/Week) Position Overview Mount Nittany Health is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support its Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine practice. This contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call, weekend, or holiday requirements. The selected candidate will primarily assist with clerical and administrative responsibilities while also being cross-trained to provide clinical support within the practice as needed. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys a combination of patient care and administrative functions in a specialty clinic setting. Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing support within the Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine clinic. Assist with patient intake, documentation, and clinical workflows. Perform clerical and administrative duties to support daily operations. Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system. Collaborate with physicians, providers, and clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Support clinic coverage needs following onboarding and training.
Requirements
Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. BLS/BCLS certification required. Experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively in both administrative and patient-care capacities. Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.
