Conduct EHS training and awareness programs covering workplace safety, emergency response, PPE usage, hazard communication, and environmental compliance. Ensure employees properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses etc. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to monitor daily operations and reinforce safe work practices. Conduct active floor-level safety oversight by proactively identifying, reporting, and correcting workplace hazards, unsafe conditions, and at-risk behaviors to maintain a safe working environment. Provide on-the-spot coaching and guidance to employees on safety procedures and hazard awareness Prepare detailed EHS reports, inspection findings, incident summaries, and corrective action documentation. Support implementation and sustainment of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements through daily activities Contribute to compliance audits of site programs and policies and deliver audit outcomes to Sr. EHS Engineer Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices Conduct routine EHS inspections, safety observations, and walk-throughs across operational areas. Ensure waste is properly stored and assist in waste shipments with the disposal company accurately perform all required waste inspections Participate in EHS training sessions, emergency response activities, drills, and safety meetings Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace safety, environmental compliance, and overall EHS All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
0-1+ years of experience in Manufacturing Safety. Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Prefer Associate Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field. OSHA Certification preferred but not necessary. Environmental regulations experience preferred. Experience writing EHS reports to regulatory authorities. Excellent communication skills with individuals of varied backgrounds. Ability to present in front of large groups. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications Ability to work effectively within an EHS team and contribute to workplace safety.
