About the Job Medical Assistant - OBGYNLocation: 4510 16th Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11219 Hours: Full Time: Monday-Thursday 8:45 AM -5:15 PM, Friday 8:45 AM-12:30 PM Premium Health is looking for outstanding candidates for the Medical Assistant position at our OBGYN practice. Through our services, we aim to achieve community wellness for the individuals and families we serve. Premium Health prioritizes a collaborative care approach and utilizes evidence-based treatment, thus achieving improved patient care and superior outcomes. Premium Health's Women's Health practice is split into two divisions, OBGYN/MFM and REI. Both the OBGYN and REI units are housed in the same location, allowing for on-site prenatal diagnosis, and easy scheduling for consultations with MFM and REI physicians. Ideal candidates will be able to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Phlebotomy. Greeting and rooming patients. Preparing patients for exam. POC testing. Cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms between patients. Cleaning and sterilizing instruments. Stocking and restocking exam rooms. Maintaining inventory. Maintaining appropriate logs. Answering patient questions. Compensation: Commensurate with experience, $23-$25 per hour. Time Commitment:Monday-Thursday: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM. Friday: 8:45 AM-12:30 PM.
