1–7 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (cross-trained preferred) Proven punctuality and consistent attendance (required) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Strong documentation accuracy and EMR proficiency (EMR ECW preferred) Excellent clinical skills and patient interaction abilities Prior experience in an outpatient setting (primary care strongly preferred) Adaptable team player with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset Comfortable with technology, medical software, and EMR systems
Back Office Responsibilities (Primary Focus)
Room patients and accurately document vitals, medical history, and medications Perform phlebotomy (required) Administer vaccines and injections Process prior authorizations and referrals Conduct telephone triage (Rx refills, patient inquiries, lab results, provider follow-up) Schedule follow-up appointments Provide clinical support to physician/providers Maintain and clean exam rooms
Front Office Responsibilities (As Needed)
Patient check-in and check-out Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls Verify insurance and collect payments Review faxes and assist with administrative tasks
Requirements
Must reside within a 45-minute commute to Buford (during rush hour) Must be able to pass a background check
