Your Daily Responsibilities Will Involve:
Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate surgical procedures Maintaining stringent sterile fields and observing stringent infection control protocols Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical surgical assistants with precision Managing and preparing surgical equipment effectively before, during, and post procedures Ensuring an ample supply of materials and equipment is ready for each operation Working collaboratively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members for cohesive patient care Accurately maintaining surgical counts and documentation to ensure patient safety Education Requirements:
A completed surgical technology program from an accredited institution A high school diploma or equivalent Certifications Required:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is essential BLS certification (or a willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
