Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use as part of individualized rehabilitation plans. Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment strategies. Document all clinical interventions, patient responses, and treatment minutes in the electronic health record accurately. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, procedures, and home care instructions. Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and ongoing training to ensure compliance and professional development. Support supervision and guidance of students under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Qualifications:
Hold an active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Possess at least 1 year of PTA experience, specifically in LTC or rehab settings. Demonstrate proficiency with skills checklists completed within the past year. Have a minimum of 0-1 professional reference at the time of submission. Be a new graduate with Level II experience considered; Level I observation experience is insufficient. Adhere to APTA standards, practice acts, and ethical guidelines. Benefits & Growth:
