This is a full time position scheduled to work Monday through Friday during core business hours at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position requires administrator on call coverage for the department on some weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a Manager Respiratory Care to:
Lead daily operations of respiratory care services, including staffing, quality, and performance management
Drive program development, quality improvement initiatives, and operational efficiency
Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care delivery
Develop, mentor, and engage a high-performing team while supporting workforce growth and retention
Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource management

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration or Business Administration Required Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration or Business Administration Preferred
Work Experience
6 years relevant health care experience Required 6 years relevant health care experience in an academic medical center Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire Required Current BLS/CPR certification Upon Hire Required Current ACLS and/or PALS certification Preferred National certification in relevant specialty (such as ACCS, NPS and/or RPFT) Preferred
