Overview Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services. Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
MSN with specialization as an APRN or MSPAS
Current state license as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
BLS upon hire and maintain current
Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine clinic, preferred.
Previous experience with electronic health record.
