Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift. Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care. Utilizes appropriate patient safety strategies to prevent human errors (checklists, forced functions, software calculations, mandatory fields, etc.).
