This is an outstanding opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine in a supportive community setting while enjoying the exceptional lifestyle of western Maine. Position Highlights
Full-time outpatient primary care position
Monday–Friday schedule with excellent work-life balance
No inpatient responsibilities
Collaborative physician and advanced practice provider environment
Manage patients across the lifespan (or adult population depending on certification)
Established patient panel with strong referral base

Provide comprehensive primary care services including wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive medicine
Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with Maine regulations
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to coordinate care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified as FNP, AGNP, or related specialty
Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure
DEA certification or eligibility
Prior primary care experience preferred
Strong communication and patient engagement skills
