Staff Dentist The staff dentist is a very experienced and proficient oral health care provider whose scope of practice includes providing outpatient and inpatient general dental care, as well as performing other assigned duties involving education and administration. Major duties include, but are not limited to:
Provides outpatient and inpatient general dental procedures in accordance with assigned clinical privileges. Provides patient education as appropriate. Communicates and interacts appropriately and courteously with internal and external customers. Maintains confidentiality of patient/employee information (electronic, verbal, written). Provides technical clinical supervision to assigned dental assistant. Works in a safe manner as regards infection control, operation of equipment, etc. Other duties as assigned.
