Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy plans that empower them to meet their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and day-to-day living activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy practices to facilitate ongoing progress at home Evaluate and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the right track Education Requirements
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are strongly encouraged and provided Licensure and Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is necessary Qualities We Value
