Culminate assessments for patients across various age demographics - children, adults, and seniors - utilizing both standardized evaluations and observational methods. Create customized treatment plans that cater to both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to develop effective and comprehensive care strategies. Provide educational guidance to patients and their families, enabling progress outside of therapy sessions. Assist with scheduled inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout patient journeys. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with both state and federal regulations as well as organizational protocols. Commit to ongoing professional development through continuous education and peer networking. Education
Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently certified by the ASHA. Certifications
Possession of state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Skills
