Evaluate patients of all ages utilizing a blend of standardized assessments and observational strategies. Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to meet immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Implement one-on-one speech therapy sessions that concentrate on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop and deliver comprehensive care strategies. Provide education to patients and their families to support continuous improvement and progress outside the clinical setting. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring continuous care throughout the treatment process. Document clinical processes accurately and promptly, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to keep abreast of advancements in the field. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified. Certification Requirements
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment. Skills We Value
