Performing extensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care plans Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health issues either collaboratively with physicians or independently (as per your credentials) Guiding patients and their families on wellness, prevention strategies, and effective disease management Prescribing treatments and medications aligned with your professional practice scope Involving yourself in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic illness care Working cooperatively with diverse teams to deliver a seamless, patient-focused approach Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Background Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program Certifications Needed
A current Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Nevada National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (with capability to acquire within 90 days) Attributes That Will Shine in This Role
