Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a skilled nursing facility in Ashland, VA. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress to support patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to provide skilled SLP services in a long-term care environment while experiencing a new community. Thank you for your time and responsiveness. Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active Virginia state SLP license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Experience with dysphagia management and instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or MBS) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with electronic medical records and documentation for skilled nursing facilities. Prior travel or contract SLP experience preferred.
Assignment Details
Shift Hours: 0800-1630. Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Dress code includes a light grey scrub top with matching scrub bottoms or black slacks.
