We are a joint venture between Baylor Scott & White Health, Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, and local physicians. We perform over 7,000 procedures and have 9 operating suites with 21 inpatient rooms, and an emergency department open 24/7 with an ED physician on-site. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking an LVN to join our family. Duties for the LVN, include but are not limited to: The LVN, under the direction of the RN, assists in planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing all nursing care services for the post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
He/she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care in compliance with professional nursing standards, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.
The LVN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.
This position is assigned to respond to patients presenting to the facility with a healthcare need. Required Skills Skills required for the LVN:
Certified LVN Current certification in CPR Current certification in ACLS Current certification in PALS High school graduate or equivalent.
