Diagnose and treat conditions, defects, injuries, and diseases affecting the mouth, teeth, jaws, and facial structures. Examine patients utilizing radiographs, dental instruments, and other diagnostic tools to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform surgical removal of diseased, damaged, and impacted teeth. Provide treatment for oral infections, pathology, and trauma-related conditions. Place dental implants as clinically appropriate. Administer anesthesia and sedation services in accordance with training and licensure. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options. Collaborate with general dentists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school. Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Eligibility for Missouri dental licensure.
