This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while working within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dental exams, cleanings, and preventive treatments (e.g., fluoride treatments, sealants) for children
Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and early orthodontic issues
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices and nutrition
Monitor dental growth and development in pediatric patients
Provide restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, and extractions
Administer local anesthesia and, when necessary, sedation for procedures
Manage dental emergencies (e.g., trauma, tooth pain)
Work with children who may be anxious, fearful, or have special healthcare needs
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution Active state dental license in Georgia Experience in Pediatric dentistry Ability to work well in a team environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience with dental software and technology Continuing education in dentistry is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality of medical records

Compensation Starting at $195K (negotiable based on experience)
