Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician Performs fluoroscopy/minor special procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician Demonstrates competence in film-processing pro-cedures Demonstrates appropriate administering and monitor-ing of radiopaque material per PHC standards Places orders in the HIS system, making all additions, corrections, and cancellations as necessary Interviews patients for pertinent medical history and obtains consents on patients prior to performing studies as required Job RequirementsRequired:
One (1) year experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist New graduates with clinical experience through approved ARRT Radiologic Technology program will be considered on an individual basis
Medical Radiographer: CA Current BLS through American Heart Association (AHA BLS) Must have working knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment. Must also know departmental policies and procedures. Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians and the patient population. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Self motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.
