Administering patient care in the PACU for patients recovering from surgery. Monitoring vital signs and assessments to ensure patient stability. Managing IV drips, cardiac drips, and tele monitoring equipment. Providing care for trauma patients and those requiring complex post-operative care. Collaboration with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals. Preparing patients and families for discharge. Floating to Bramhall PACU/IMC/ICU as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
3 years of PACU experience with recent floating experience required. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Experience with tele strips, cardiac monitoring, and post-operative care. Prior Travel Experience is preferred. Experience in Phase 1 care and trauma Level 1 care.
