Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI) is the state's premier program dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient's status. Participate in the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care. Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Job Requirements:
Oklahoma State LPN License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care ACLS, PALS etc. may be required for specific units
