Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a relationship-driven Account Manager based in New Braunfels, TX to grow and support a portfolio of clients in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, and higher education.
This is a consultative sales role focused on expanding existing accounts, building long-term partnerships, and helping clients navigate complex environmental compliance needs. Responsibilities:- Manage and grow a book of business by building strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving retention
- Drive revenue by selling environmental waste management, disposal, and other services to new and existing clients, including cross-selling and repeat business
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, coordinating routine services, aligning on project scope, and ensuring successful delivery
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship-building within client organizations
- Lead the sales process from qualification through proposal development, applying consultative selling techniques (including Sandler methodology)
- Support client compliance needs by assisting with key projects and delivering tailored solutions
- Ensure smooth financial operations by securing purchase orders and assisting with the collection of outstanding invoices
- Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy and continuous improvement
- Support service recovery efforts by resolving issues, improving processes, and preventing recurrence
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience, including occasional client entertainment and engagement
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 25 years of experience in environmental services, facilities management, or a related industry, with prior sales experience
- Proven track record of selling to clients in healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or industrial sectors
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-driven mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to attend client meetings, networking events, and occasional outings as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Prior experience with Triumvirate Environmental
- Formal sales training (e.g., Sandler or similar consultative sales methodologies)
