Job Responsibilities
Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized therapy strategies that assist them in pursuing their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize research-driven interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic, well-rounded care Educate Patients and Family Members: Offer guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic methods to support continued progress in their daily routines Monitor Progress and Adapt as Necessary: Keep thorough records of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal patient trajectory Education Requirements
Graduation from an accredited institution with a degree in Occupational Therapy Support for ongoing education or post-graduate qualifications is available Licensing and Certification
Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a prerequisite Desired Skills
