Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions targeting various aspects of communication, including language, fluency, and voice. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to create comprehensive strategies for patient care. Provide educational support to patients and their families to foster improvement outside of therapy sessions. Engage with inpatient cases to ensure seamless transition and continuity of therapeutic care. Document patient progress in line with state, federal, and organizational standards to maintain compliance. Commit to ongoing education and development to stay updated with advancements in speech-language pathology. Qualifications
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) unless already ASHA-certified. Licenses and Certifications
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment is a requirement. Skills You'll Need
