Craft individualized treatment strategies that focus on immediate goals alongside broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy that targets communication, articulation, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing capabilities. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to design unified care plans. Educate patients and their families to ensure continued progress beyond the therapy environment. Facilitate periodic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, fostering uninterrupted care throughout the healing process. Ensure precise and prompt documentation that complies with the relevant local, national, and organizational protocols. Engage in ongoing professional development and peer discussion to stay abreast of industry advancements. Educational Background
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not been attained yet. Required Credentials
State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. Key Skills
