Formulate Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess individual needs and develop tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping patients reach their functional goals Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based methods to support the development of motor skills, cognitive function, and essential daily living tasks Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care Educate Patients and Their Families: Instruct on therapy techniques to empower ongoing recovery and progress at home Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans to keep the focus on individualized progress Education
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Continuing education opportunities and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required Skills
